Second period of the Fourth Activation was between 04-27 April 2005 with Georgia in command.
The Second Deployment of the Fourth Activation of BLACKSEAFOR included the participation of the BLACKSEA PARTNERSHIP-2005 Exercise and Submarine Escape and Rescue Exercise, serialized training programs during the transits at sea and 3-day port visits to following ports: Karadeniz Ereğli and İstanbul (Turkey), Burgas (Bulgaria) and Constanta (Romania).
The activation was focused on the review of the Sub-Concept for Defensive Operation Against Terrorism (BSN-11) and Sub-Concept for Environmental Protection in the Black Sea (BSN-07) as it was directed by the BSNC. The scope of the training encompassed further exercising of the BSN-11and BSN-07 in order to improve the level of training and interoperability of the force.
The Second Deployment of the Fourth Activation of BLACKSEAFOR lasted for 24 days, 13 days, of which were scheduled as traning at sea and 11 days of which as traning in port (including Submarine Escape and Rescue Exercises’ Port Phase).
